Color run...

"There is not telling how many miles you will have to run while chasing a dream." -Rev. Run

I went to help Jennifer Coats Photography take photos of the Artesia Color Run.  I knew this was going to be a very fun activity, since I was someone who loves bright, bright colors.  I could not believe how many were participating...families, friends, co-workers, and individuals...a couple of dogs too... showed up to take part in this colorful event.  There had to be over 500 participating.  Participants showed up in equally colorful "run wear."

one of the dogs...it was not spared being showered with "color."

Cute...wish we could actually install muscles so easily...

Volunteers T-Shirt...

The race was soon underway...

Lots of participants....

Look at the line of all those running the event
First color station... so fun...

All ages...

Refreshments anyone...

In the end, no one had escaped being dowsed with color, but they were happy.  I was impressed with all the creativity, and with the diversity in age.  Moms pushed babies, preschoolers ran with parents, and kids, as well as adults of all ages, turned out for the event.  Everyone was excited they finished...their colorful outside reflected the color they felt in their hearts.  Excitement, contentment, satsifaction filled their hearts.   It was fun, fabulous, and festive.  May I encourage everyone to show up again next year...and those who did not participate...come join in next year.  I was am pleased I was able to document this colorful event.  Don't miss this next year...
